Text Box: Evangelism Board

Lots of activity with our Board this past month.

We thank all who attended the soup supper on February 13th. Our proceeds have not been designated as yet, but a decision will be made at our next meeting.

We continue to make contact with visitors to our church. If you know of someone whom we should visit, please make us aware.

We are excited about our upcoming pictoral directory. Olan Mills has been selected to do the photography. Our goal is to have all members photographed to be included in the directory. The dates for sign up are April 13, 20 and 27 and May 4th. Much more information will be in the April Parish Visitor.

March 2nd—”Int’l Work for Kosovo” - Judge John Tunheim
The world’s new country is Kosovo, the latest in independent countries rising from the breakup of Yugoslavia. Kosovo has not emerged without a fight, however, as Serbia has tried mightily to hang onto its former province. Judge John Tunheim has been involved to a great extent in Kosovo ever since the NATO bombing campaign drove Serbia from the territory in 1999. Much of his work has centered on development of a modern legal system. In 2007, he has devoted significant time and effort to assisting in drafting a constitution for independent Kosovo. Judge Tunheim will talk about “writing a Constitution,” and meeting the significant challenge of persuading ethnic Albanians and ethnic Serbs to work together in peace.
