Text Box: CAT and Confirmation 7th, 8th and 9th Grade – Classes do not meet during Lent. However; students should be attending Lenten Worship Services. Midweek worship continues on Wednesdays, March 5th and 12th. During Holy Week (the week between Palm Sunday and Easter), worship is on Maundy Thursday (March 20th) and Good Friday (March 21st). Confirmation classes resume after Easter, beginning Wednesday, April 2nd. 6th Graders – Our next retreat is scheduled for the second weekend in March! Details will be coming soon. 5th Grade CAT Class – Students and parents participate in the Seder Meal on Wednesday, March 19th. The Meal will be at 6:00pm in Fellowship Hall. The Seder Meal is a special time of celebration for students and their parents as the students prepare for their First Holy Communion. 5th graders will receive their First Communion at the Maundy Thursday worship service – Thursday, March 20th at 7:00pm. If you have any questions regarding the Seder Meal or First Communion, please contact Barb Liebenstein or Laura Gilligan. 4th Grade CAT Class – We will meet again in April during JAM. Our first class will be on Wednesday, April 2nd Text Box: FACTS and FIGURES for JANUARY 2008 2007 January offerings $31,342 $32,456 Budgeted for January $39,875 This past January’s giving fell behind the previous year by $1,114. That is not a huge shortfall, except for the fact that we are $8,533 behind our anticipated offerings for the month. Each week we need to received almost $10,000 in General Fund offerings at St. Peter’s. It will be critically important to achieve this as we extend a call to a new Associate Pastor. We are getting close to that happening. Please let your giving grow up to the level needed to add this additional person to our staff.
