Another month has come and gone, and it's newsletter time again! The March Parish Visitor has been sent by mail, and is posted here on-line. Visit for the online version of the newsletter. To add something to the newsletter, send information to or drop it by the church office by the 15th of the month.

Circles Meeting this Week

Our Women's Eve Circle will meet today, February 19 at 6:30 p.m. at St. Peter's. The Eve Circle meets every third Monday. New members welcome! And the Rachel Circle will meet Tuesday, February 20 at 2:00 p.m. Fireside Lounge, St. Peter's. The Rachel Circle meets every third Tuesday. New members welcome! Both circles are focused on the Church and community.

Children's Sermons

Did you know we have a special children's message Every Sunday?! Thanks to special planning from our Faith Formation director, Julie Klock, who gives the children attending worship an extra take-away tailored to speak just to them.

Ash Wednesday

Today is Ash Wednesday! Join us at St. Peter's Lutheran/Northfieldthis evening for a special Ash Wednesday Worship Service. A soup supper will start at 5:30, and worship at 6:30. These meals and Lenten worship services will continue throughout Wednesday evenings during Lent. Our theme for our Wednesday Lenten worship services is “You Are the Way.” The theme is based on the “I am” statements in the Gospel of John. Devotions for Lent with this theme are available in the narthex at the Welcome Center. #Lent #AshWednesday#WorshipatStPeters

Sharing & Caring Hands 2/18

For St. Peter's Youth, Sharing & Caring Hands will be this Sunday, February 18. Meet at the church at 7:30. Bring cash for lunch afterwards at the Pizza Ranch. High school kids and adults welcome.

Wednesday's Menu, 2/7 We welcome all members of the community to join us in a meal on Wednesday evenings to share in fellowship. This week's meal is: Chicken Casseole, salad, dessert

Men's Winter Retreat

Attention St. Peter's Men! The Men’s cross country ski trip is set for February 23-25 at Maplelag resort in Callaway, MN (north of Detroit Lakes). We will carpool, and depending upon people’s schedules, we may leave at different times. Maplelag has many beautiful and groomed trails through woods and bogs. If you’re in need of a little Sabbath time—this is your opportunity. Maplelag is a place of beauty, serenity, and community. If cross country skiing isn’t your thing, you can hike or snow shoe trails, ice fish, or ride a fat bike (I wonder who would like that!?) Rentals are available. Lodging is in a cabin so you will need to bring a sleeping bag. Meals are delicious, and on Sunday we get a
