Worship in the New Sanctuary 7/29!
Come worship with us! We'll be back in the newly renovated sanctuary this Sunday 7/29. The single summer worship service is at 9:00 am and coffee and fellowship to follow at 10. About worship on 7/29: Today is the first of five Sundays with gospel readings from John 6, the first
four of which focus on Jesus as bread of life. Today Jesus feeds thousands of
people with five loaves and two fish. What we have, what we bring to Jesus’
table, seems like it is not nearly enough t

About Worship on 7/22
Worship with us on Sunday 7/22! 9am worship; 10am coffee & fellowship... also pew and sanctuary cleaning and pew re-installation! We'll be worshiping in the Fellowship Hall one last time before returning to our beautiful sanctuary. Come worship with us and bring a neighbor! needs to be met, on Jesus and his disciples. Yet in today’s gospel Jesus advises his

Survey: Upside Down Sundays
Getting our many generations together at the same time at St. Peter's is not always easy to do! With our Upside Down Sundays we have a chance to come together to learn about the Bible and the Lord in relation to people and our community. These Sundays are important to us, and in order to make the most out of them we've put together a short survey on what is best about them so we can do more of it. Upside down Sundays will be planned, mainly for the 4th Sunday of the month aft

Sanctuary Progress Report 7/12
The new flooring installation was started early this week, and Troy and David removed the screen hanging in the front of the church. The flooring is looking very nice, and the screen is slated to be replaced with tv monitors along the edges of the sanctuary for displaying visuals such as music and lyrics once again! We're planning to have the sanctuary ready for cleaning and pews returned after worship on Sunday, July 22! That means we'll be worshiping in our beautiful sanctu

About worship this Sunday 7/8
Why was 6 afraid of 7? Because 7 8 9. Ha! Here's what we have in store for Sunday 7/8's worship: Jesus does great deeds of power and gives his disciples authority over demons. Yet none of this power is unilateral; it all must be received by faith. Jesus asks his disciples to go out without money or supplies, so that they will be dependent on how others receive them.
