About our Worship Services this Sunday 4/22:
The image of the Good Shepherd shows us how the risen Christ brings us to life. It is the relationship between the shepherd and the sheep, one of mutual knowledge and love, that gives the shepherd authority. The shepherd’s willingness to lay down his life for the sheep shows his love. First John illustrates what it means to lay down our lives for one another by the example of sharing our wealth with any sister or brother in need. (from sundaysandseasons.com)
UpSide Down Sunday:
During the coffee hour between services, we will recognize volunteerism in our Church and in our community. In conjunction with Earth Day, we will also have fun programming for all ages on "plastics on our planet." Remember- this is in place of Sunday School and it's a great chance for all five generations of St. Peter's to get to know each other!
