Worship with us at 8:30 or 10:45! Stay for coffee and snacks between services. All kids are welcome for Sunday School upstairs at 9:40!
This Sunday 11/4 we will remember those received into the arms of God's mercy, into the glorious company of the saints in light; and those joined to Christ in the waters of baptism over the last year.
Isaiah and Revelation look forward to the day when God will wipe away all tears; in John’s gospel, Jesus weeps along with Mary and all the gathered mourners before he demonstrates his power over death. On All Saints Day we celebrate the victory won for all the faithful dead, but we grieve for our beloved dead as well, knowing that God honors our tears. We bring our grief to the table and find there a foretaste of Isaiah’s feast to come. (sundaysandseasons.com)
