Worship with Us 7/28
God-willing the forecasted rain on Sunday will hold off and we'll be able to have worship outdoors as planned. If not, we'll worship in the sanctuary and try again next month (Aug 25).
9:00 am worship this Sunday, then coffee and fellowship to follow. About 10:10 we will continue our conversation on the ELCA's social statement on abortion in the Fireside Room.
In the evening softball lovers are invited to cheer on our St. Peter's softball team at 6:40 pm at Babcock park (behind Tacoasis!) when they take on St. Dominic White.
About worship on 7/28:
Persistence in prayer evoked the admiration of Jesus and wins the attention of the Lord when Abraham intercedes for Sodom. The life of the baptized—to be rooted and built up in Christ Jesus the Lord—is to be rooted in prayer. God hears and answers prayer and so strengthens God’s own. “When I called, you answered me; you increased my strength within me.” (sundaysandseasons)
There are just a couple of tickets left to attend the St. Paul Saints game on Friday 8/30. $38 covers your ticket and transportation. A coach bus will leave St. Peter's at 5:30pm. Sign up at the Welcome Desk!
