Sunday 6/14

Happy Friday! A special note from Dennis, our financial administrator: Be sure to use your 2020 offering envelopes when sending in your offering, rather than past years envelopes, as your assigned giving number may be different. The assigned giving number helps St. Peter’s track your yearly giving. To help ensure your year-end giving statement is accurate, use 2020 envelopes only. We still have many unclaimed 2020 offering envelopes in the church office. Contact us if you would like to pick yours up, or make other arrangements. St. Peter's is continuing our commitment to the Meals-on-Wheels program with the Northfield Hospital. On behalf of St. Peter's and our community, please sign up to deliver meals June 28 through July 11. Sign up for as many as you like! Use this link for sign up genius to choose what works best for you. Thank you! This Sunday is the 2nd Sunday after Pentecost. Join us online at 9am! You can find the bulletin for June 14 on our website. The music is printed in the back, along with our prayer ministry list of names. As you may have already noticed, we have omitted last names from these prayers. This is to protect on-line privacy for these folks. Remember, God always knows who we are praying for! About worship Sunday 6/14: Moses tells the Israelites that they are called to be a priestly kingdom and a holy people. Jesus sends out the disciples as laborers into the harvest. In baptism we too are anointed for ministry, sharing God’s compassion with our needy world. From the Lord’s table we go forth to proclaim the good news, to heal the sick, and to share our bread with the hungry.
