Advent, Christmas, the New Year

We had our last Breakfast Club for the year this morning with waffles and sausage. It's so good to see the children... Merry Christmas and see you next year! No Youth groups will meet tonight or at any time for the duration of Christmas break. Tonight: Bells at 4:30; Meal at 5:30 with chicken & wild rice soup; Advent worship at 6:15; and Worship Choir at 7. The service during advent is based on the devotional, The Fullness of Time by Henri J. M. Nouwen, with music from Holden Evening Prayer. A small monetary donation for the meal is appreciated. A Fullness of Time devotional is available on the Welcome Desk.

Christmas Eve: Join in celebration of Christ's birth at either one of two services, 3:30pm or 5pm. Both services include special music and will end in candlelight. The 3:30 service will also be streamed live online. The bulletin is available on the website.

Worship this first Sunday of Christmas, the 26th, will include a Christmas Carol hymn sing. Come prepared to sing and hear your favorite songs of the season. Invite a friend or family member to join you. 9:00 am.

Office hours will be short during the week between Christmas and New Years. If you need to stop in, it may be helpful to call ahead first. End of year offering can be dropped off inside or by using the locked drop box outdoors near the offices through Friday, December 31. Mailed end of year offering should be postmarked by December 31. Thank you for a terrific year despite the challenges it presented!

No mid-week worship or other programming next week, Wednesday the 29th. God Bless You and Yours. Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year! -St. Peter's Lutheran
