Sunday 2/20/22

This Sunday: Join us at 9am in person. You may also join online live on facebook or watch on the website afterwards. Yes, coffee will be made for after worship this day. For joining online, you can find this Sunday's bulletin and other announcements on the website.

This Sunday is the 7th Sunday after Epiphany. Mercy. Mercy. Mercy. Joseph lives it in Egypt. Jesus preaches it in the gospel. The Spirit guides us into merciful lives with the power of forgiveness to reconcile what is fractured and divided. Such merciful living is the baptismal blessing of having put on Christ. It is the gift of the life-giving Spirit. It is a reflection of God’s glory revealed in Christ. (sundaysandseasons.com) Thank you to our volunteers and worship leaders for setting up for communion, ushering, reading, working in the kitchen, and to Phil Olson for providing special music this Sunday.

The Church Council will be hosting two listening sessions after worship to hear your hopes and desires for future staffing as we prepare for Julie Klock's retirement and hiring her successor. One group will be upstairs with Sunday School parents and the other in the Fireside room.

HAPPENING NOW February Challenge: Have you done something nice for someone lately? Let others know your acts of love and kindness. Grab a paper heart at our Welcome Desk (or near the other entrances) and write down what you did. We will display them and pray over them at the end of the month. How many hearts can we get!?

Caritas Vocal Ensemble is making a stop at St. Peter's during its "Inspiring Harmony" benefit tour: Saturday, February 26 at 7:30pm. Donations to benefit the Northfield Community Action Center.
