Sunday 9/26
This Sunday is the first official day of Sunday School. PreK-2 meet in the classrooms! Grades 3-5 meet in the sanctuary for Bible Milestone class. Older kids in the youth room.
NEXT SUNDAY OCT 3: Blessing of the Animals after worship. Bring your pet to be blessed as we bless all animals everywhere in remembrance of St. Francis of Assisi. Before then: Take a photo of you (or your kids) and your pet (or your livestock) and send it to Julie to be displayed in celebration! This will also make it easier if you are not able to bring your animal to be blessed in person.
ALSO NEXT SUNDAY: A new member class will also start after worship. Join for the Blessing of Animals first if you wish. Pass on the word and contact David if you have any questions.
Sunday, September 26th: Join us at 9am in person. Coffee will be served following the service in the Fellowship Hall. Or join online on facebook or on the website afterwards. For worshiping online, you can find this Sunday's bulletin on the website. Updated Return to Worship information is on our website.

About worship Sunday 9/26:
Someone who isn’t part of Jesus’ own circle is casting out demons in Jesus’ name, and the disciples want him stopped. They appeal to Jesus, as Joshua did to Moses about the elders who prophesied without official authorization. Like Moses, Jesus refuses to see this as a threat. Jesus welcomes good being done in his name, even when it is not under his control. The circle we form around Jesus’ word must be able to value good being done in ways we wouldn’t do it, by people we can’t keep tabs on. (sundaysandseasons)
