Within the Lutheran tradition, Confirmation is a cherished and vital ministry of teaching and sharing the Christian faith with the next generation of disciples.

 

Confirmation begins in the fall of the sixth grade and continues through the spring of eighth grade. Confirmation is in the fall of ninth grade.

 

Through the three years of instruction, discussion, and exploration, we focus on the Old Testament, New Testament, and Luther's Small Catechism. These Middle School students also participate in both fellowship and servant events.

 

Confirmation meets on Wednesday nights. All grades gather together for a short worship service, then meet as a class to further discuss the topic. All of these experiences are geared to prepare the students to become active and inspired members of our faith community.
