It is a privilege and joy to proclaim the great news of God's love and forgiveness in Christ Jesus, and to embark on an adventure of Christian discipleship with the saints of St. Peter's Lutheran. I began serving St. Peter's in December 2013. My prior calls include Big Bend/West Bank, Milan, MN; St. Stephen, Marshall, MN; and Trinity, Watertown, MN. I attended Waldorf College for two years and graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in Philosophy. I received my M.Div. from Luther Seminary in St. Paul, MN. My wife, Michon, and I are proud parents of three adult sons. We feel very blessed to be here in Northfield. We enjoy outdoor activities such as biking, golfing, running, canoeing and camping. We like to visit art museums and attend concerts in both Northfield and the Twin Cities.

Mary Kay has lived in Northfield since 2012--just around the corner from St. Peter's. Before moving to Northfield, she spent 22 years in Sleepy Eye, MN, teaching grades 7-12 vocal music at St. Mary's High School, and being a music director at Trinity Lutheran Church. Mary Kay graduated from St. Olaf College (BA: Music Education) and Minnesota State University, Mankato (MM: Choral Conducting). She has three children from her previous marriage; Nick, Megan and Kira. Mary Kay is married to Patrick Bougie, an architect who has two grown children; Dan and Sarah.

Terrence has spent the last decade working in financial services as a financial planner. Apart from spending time with the family, he enjoys the outdoors, reading biographies and watching Manchester United.

Mary Kay has worked at St. Peter’s since 2016. Besides being a lifelong church musician, Mary Kay’s career has been in music education, teaching Kindergarteners through college level vocal and classroom music, and also private voice and piano instruction. She holds a BA degree from St. Olaf College and an MM degree from Minnesota State University, Mankato. Mary Kay has 3 grown children, Nick, Megan, and Kira; and her husband, Patrick, has two grown children: Dan, and Sarah (Jordon). Together Mary Kay and Patrick thoroughly enjoy being grandparents to their young grandson, Sawyer!

Allie Machacek, Communications Coordinator + Admin
Allie is a Northfield native who attended the University of St. Thomas with a major/minor in Communication Studies and Public Relations. In her spare time, Allie enjoys working on home renovations and spending time with her family at the cabin in the summer.
